Anda Eastwood explores the wild east of Andalucía: 8 days and 6 riding days from Málaga, along the Mediterranean coast to Nerja, across the desert landscapes of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, over the high plains around Baza and into the mountains of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas, before finishing in Granada beneath the Sierra Nevada and riding back to Málaga.
Every route avoids motorways and focuses on the best riding roads: coastal curves, mountain passes and empty back roads through olive groves and white villages. You ride a BMW GS with unlimited mileage and follow our day-by-day digital route guide.
Prefer a guided tour? We can also run this route as a guided tour for your group. Get in touch and we will plan it with you.
Welcome to Málaga. We meet you on arrival for a meet and greet, hand over your BMW and run through the tour, the digital route guide and the bike. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city or relax at your hotel.

Collect your BMW and ease into the tour along the coast and through the hills of the Axarquía east of Málaga, finishing in Nerja, a white town on the cliffs above the Mediterranean.
Ride east through the mountains and along the coast into Almería, ending in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park: volcanic hills, desert scenery and some of the wildest beaches in Spain.
Head inland through the desert landscapes of Almería, where many classic westerns were filmed, and climb onto the high plains to Baza.
A day of mountain roads into the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park, Spain’s largest protected area, finishing in the hillside town of Cazorla.
Ride through olive country and over mountain passes to Granada, with the evening free to visit the Alhambra or wander the Albaicín.
The final ride takes you from Granada back through the mountains to Málaga, where you return your bike.
Catch your flight home, with plenty of stories to tell. Hasta pronto!
