Motorcycle Tours from Barcelona: The Pyrenees, Costa Brava and Beyond
Barcelona is one of the best places in Europe to start a motorcycle tour. Within two hours of the airport you can be on the hairpins of Montserrat, the forest roads of the Montseny or the cliff-top coast road of the Costa Brava, and by the end of the first day you can be in the high Pyrenees. This guide covers our motorcycle tours from Barcelona, the best roads to ride and when to go.
Why start a motorcycle tour in Barcelona?
- Easy to reach: Barcelona airport has direct flights from most of Europe and beyond.
- Mountains and sea: the Pyrenees (see all our Pyrenees motorcycle tours), Andorra and France are to the north, the Costa Brava to the east and the hidden mountains of Priorat and the Maestrazgo to the south.
- A long season: the coast and the southern mountains ride well from spring to late autumn, and the high Pyrenees open from June to September.
- Great roads, no motorways: every one of our routes uses national and regional roads, chosen for the riding.
